Amidst 40,000sq.metres of land where only 1.5 acres has been landscaped with plants, trees, terraces and lawns, while the remaining area is abundant with pines, olive trees, and a rich mix of Mediterranean flora and fauna. This Estate Includes: A Luxurious 1600 sq. meter Family Mansion With Every Amenity. The five bedroom, 1,600 sq. meter stone villa is accessed through a cypress studded driveway, passing between the guard house and an ancient water reservoir. The 90 sq.m.guardhouse is located at the main gate of the premises. Although there are no security concerns, the street side of the property is walled and gated for your privacy. Here you will find a world of exceptional elegance and inspiration in architecture, art, interior design and landscapes. The ground floor is high-ceilinged and spacious. Flooring is of reddish Agra stone throughout, which continues out to the respective terraces and verandas located in front of the kitchen, dining and living rooms, as well as the study. All woodwork is solid Iroco hardwood. The furnishings of the villa is eclectic, with a predominance of earthen colors, combining English and French furniture pieces-including some antiques, as well as pieces and accessories of Asian origin, along with Turkish carpets and figurative paintings- in all reflecting the travels and living of the owners. There is a central fireplace in the 160 sq. meter living area. There is another central fireplace in the 80 sq. meter kitchen and the breakfast area. The 65 sq.meter grand dining room is dominated by a 4.5 meter oak dining table. Verandas provide for a bar,outside dining, and relaxation. The first floor with hardwood parquet flooring contains four additional bedrooms as well as a kitchenette, leading off from the spacious family room. A/C units are available in all the bedrooms as well as the study on the ground floor. Winter heating is central. These bedrooms all have recessed balconies (plus a terrace with a breathtaking vista), walk-in closet and en-suite bathrooms. The 100 sq. meter master bedroom complex has ample changing areas as well as a memorable bathroom with a jacuzzi. Its terrace is secluded among mature pine trees. The kidney shaped 90 sq. meter infinity pool is located off-center amid natural rock outcrops and colorful plants including oleanders, bougainvilleas, gazanias, and succulents. The stone two-bedroom, two bathroom 120 sq.m.house is used by the landlord during winter and when guests are present in the Villa. Storage room, cold room, laundry room,mechanical room, cave are all interconnected via half-flight of stairs leading to the basement. Other facilities on the ground floor include a billiards room, sauna, guest bedroom with an independent entry, servants’ quarters for four.
